47-year-old actor Danny Masterson, convicted of rape, has been transferred from a high-security prison to a minimum-security prison. The celebrity will spend 30 years in prison.

The portal “Us Weekly” writes that the star of the “`70s Show” has been in Corcoran State Prison since the verdict was announced, where Charles Manson also served the death sentence. Well, Danny will be in a men’s prison in California.

Danny lived in a maximum security prison for less than two months, then transferred on good behavior.

The actor will have the opportunity to work, study and express himself creatively while serving his sentence. He will also be able to attend various psychological health programs, anger and family therapy to improve his behavior.

In May 2023, Masterson was found guilty of two counts of rape, the actor was charged already in June 2020. Danny pleads not guilty.

Two months after the sentencing, Masterson filed an appeal, which was dismissed in January 2024.

Masterson was married to Bijou Phillips since 2011, who divorced the actor after the affirmative verdict. The actor agreed that his ex-wife has sole custody of their nine-year-old daughter Fiana.

Masterson will not be eligible for parole until July 2042, when he would be 66.
